I earned a Master's Degree in User Experience Design, graduating as the top student in my cohort with a perfect 4.00 GPA. My background in architecture opened my eyes to the parallels between shaping physical environments and designing digital ones, igniting my passion for UX. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to shape impactful solutions at RBC, CIBC, and the innovative start-up Ten Thousand Coffees.
About Me
I began my design career by studying Architecture and Visual Studies at the University of Toronto. The turning point came when I recognized the parallels between shaping physical environments and designing digital ones. Driven by the desire to create digital landscapes that resonate with people, I decided to make a career pivot by completing a Master's Degree in User Experience Design, where I graduated with a 4.00 GPA. Since then, I've worked at RBC and CIBC.

I define myself as someone who's half realist and half dreamer. My curiosity is what drives me to understand the evolving needs of users and the ever-changing nature of technology. From ideation to execution, I embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. Teamwork, positivity and empathy are central to every project I take on.

Rebecka joined RBC’s Digital Design team as an intern in the summer of 2023 and made such a positive impact she was offered a full-time position at the internship’s end. She is a very talented young designer. Rebecka is engaged on multiple projects and manages her time very effectively.
